ABC喜剧《格尔伯格一家TheGoldbergs》曾经在16年开发衍生剧但没获预订，而电视网在美国时间1月24日放出拍好的试映集后（S05E00「1990Something」那集），倒是因为反应良好令ABC决定改变主意预订该衍生剧，现定于19年1月9日首播，由《格尔伯格一家》前导。暂定13集的《校园时代Schooled》定于90年代，主角包括Glascott校长﹑Mellor教练及LaineyLewis（TimMeadows﹑BryanCallen及AJMichalka饰演），他们虽然有怪癖﹑个人生活有点疯狂，但仍然是学生们心目中的英雄。BrettDier饰演C.B.，此角色是改编自母剧主创AdamF.Goldberg的老师兼朋友，C.B.是名年轻﹑活跃的老师，在课堂上以滑稽的方式与学生互动，他亦是菜鸟老师LaineyLewis的朋友/对手。衍生剧原构念是复制《格尔伯格一家》的家庭喜剧模式，后来改为注重在校园喜剧这方向，新增了母剧的LaineyLewis一角。

FOX预订了律政剧《无罪证明ProvenInnocent》（前名《恶名Infamy》），《嘻哈帝国Empire》主创之一DannyStrong负责的该剧由DavidElliot执笔，讲述一家由女主MadelineScott主导的律师事务所，这事务所专门处理错误定罪案件，为无辜者昭雪。RachelleLefevre饰演女主MadelineScott，她过去曾被定罪但后来在高调下成功脱罪，成了家喻户晓名人﹑英雄的她决心为无辜者辩护，不过Madeline的手段也增加了想拉她下马的敌人。RileySmith饰演女主的兄弟LeviScott。《格林Grimm》男主演RussellHornsby饰演精明﹑务实﹑冷静的律师Ezekiel“Easy”Boudreau，在昭雪律师事务所工作。VincentKartheiser饰演BodieQuick，强悍﹑好斗的律师事务所调查员。NikkiM.James饰演Violet，爱交际﹑魅力十足的她是事务所的联络主管。
